An easier test first

Create a brand-new blank page (don’t duplicate the broken one):

1. Add a title like “Test Save”.
2. Publish it.
3. Add one paragraph.
4. Update it.

• If that works, WordPress is fine and the original page is the problem.
• If that also fails, then the issue is broader.
